Punk/Ska-Punk Music

I've seen LTJ twice, really good live band, enjoy.
I actually started listening to them after seeing them live. It amazed me how much energy they had and the antics they did onstage. Reminded me of NOFX.

I love Ska/Punk. Die-Hard fan.

In fact i was introduced to this forum because is was trying to advertise for my ska/punk forum.

Some bands you probably havent heard of, listen to em now!

-The Dumpers
-The stupid stupid henchmen
-Mad conductor
-Agent 99
-Morning Glory
-No Cash
-No Commercial Value

Well I'd figure I'd let everybody else in on the disappointment that I can't go see Less Than Jake due to a lack of transportation, the ghetto, a bull, and a silly setlist. Heck I'd pay $100 if I was guaranteed that they played Shindo, Pete Jackson Is Getting Married, Welcome To The New South, Summon Monsters, Malachi Richter's Liquor's Quicker, and the FreeCreditReport.com song. None of those songs are being played this tour.

Aw, dude, that sucks.

I myself, have never gotten to go to a REAL concert yet, but should be going to see Rancid in may.

Ive seen similair tragedys. My brothers band once opened for Star ****ing hipsters, but there wasnt enough room in the car for me to go. My brother also saw Mad Conductor in November, couldnt go to that for same reason. And again, not enough room in the car when he went to see a Leftover Crack show at Northern Lights. Still so disappointed about all of those

Is that where you'll be seeing Rancid? Because I might see Rancid at Northern Lights. Depends how much money I have left after I see Blink 182 in Rochester on that Tuesday. Northern Lights is by far one of the best medium sized venues I've been to. Haven't seen a concert there in over a year 🙁

Similarly, if you reside in the Albany area and want to get informed on smaller shows I have a link for you. There are a bunch of people trying to revive the punk/hardcore scene there.

Honestl, id rather see Rancid than Blink-182. And i live about 45 minutes ish from albany.

But yeah, id love to see that link.

Also, since youre a punk fan, mind checking out my ska/punk forum? 😛

The guy does promotion for most of the smaller Albany venues.

I could register, but I don't really have a bunch of time to post or be active. As it is, I only post ~10 or less times a week here.

Alright, whatever, up to you 😀

Thanks for the link

Man, whats up with DK and The Misfits these days? I think DK has gone on too long without Jello. And i heard the new Misfits album wasnt all that great.

Punk can be pretty serious. But it still does make me happy 😛 Ska makes me happy too

Honestly I don't listen to either band. 😛

Whaaaat?

Have you listened to them in the past, and choose not to listen to them, or have you not heard them? D:

I've heard of them, but haven't really listened to them. I might have heard one Misfits song total. 😱
