There is a meaning behind it. The name of Luxray [Pokemon] in Japaneses are Rentoraa. I feel Rentoraa is too simple so i deleted the a and added in y into it. Why Luxray? Luxray is a electric type Pokemon which have many ''fans'' behind it.
