They allow us to have them, but they don't let us use them in class.

My school never did, but imagine that! Kids still brought their phones anyway.

Yes our school's allow phones/electronics in the atrium, it is our lunch area and an open spaced area where we go when it's brek, no electronics are allowed upstairs or in classrooms, but in our technical woodwork classes we are allowwed to wear earphones because of the noise also goes same for home echonomic's when sewing, as teacher's believe it help's release inner nerve.
