Selling modded controllers???

Is selling modded controllers like these illegal? Is it against Microsoft/Sony's policies?

I don't think it should be illegal, but it should void your warranty. That's my belief with any modifications or hacks.

It may be against their policies, doesn't mean it's illegal though. I could register a company and say you must sacrifice your first born son to use our services but that doesn't mean those are law. 😉

I did some research, and I think it's ok for Xbox, but not with PS3.

Would you get banned for using one?

and most in those links are not modded really. The keyboard thing you can buy at game stop. Anyone can paint their controller, adding LEDs just mods how it looks. Not sure about what the last one is though

An autofire or combo/macro button which allows a user to push one button to perform a button combo, or autofire in fighting and first person shooter games can be consider cheating since gamers just need to keep pressing one button to do combos which can give gamers an unfair advantage.

I think as long as the controller does not give someone an unfair advantage in gaming, it should be fine.

They are all modded, and you obviously didn't read about the keyboard one. There was apparently some issue with the keyboard's compatibility with the headset, and that mod allows them to be used simultaneously.

And that would be fine too. It doesn't really effect gameplay.
