Yep, and that's why I'm on the first page (after 3 weeks) for the search term "SEM Blog", which is a high advertiser competition keyword according to Google's Keyword Tool.

orc_dragoon, not an issue (remember I co-own the host). Fixed in a matter of seconds. 50 GB extra Bandwidth now.

because "SEM BLOG" is in your title. Anything that is in your title considers your site name. Any site name you type in will come up on first page of google <_<

Then explain why does my blog pop up in the top 10-20 when there are 42,100 other results for "sem blog". And you're saying this isn't a SEO technique, right?

seo technique is having your site show up on google with keywords that do not relate to your site name.

Meaning if I have my site linkdropp when u type linkdropp or linkdrop my site will come up first. Thats not seo, seo is when someone types in "web directory" and my site comes up first.

For people who have to go to your blog to learn about seo, sem blog" is a really bad term to use, because for people who dont know how to seo their website they are not aware of the term "sem"

True that, however you make that point with criticism. Digital Point is a known forum. However, for a very long time (about 4 years), they went by the title "Webmaster Forum - Internet Marketing & Search Engine Forums". So you make that point saying that the owner of DP doesn't know anything about SEO. You say that having the major keyword in their title is not SEO, yet why have they succeeded in that key term?

Another forum I am on, their webmaster is a professional in his genre of web promotion, and even has his company. His forum has "Programming and Web Development Community" as his title. So are you criticizing his success as techniques which are not SEO?

You search "SEO Companies" in Google. All but 2 have "SEO Company" in their title (the other 2 have it in their descriptions). They are professionals in SEO, yet you say having the major keyword in the title is not SEO? Strange if you ask me.

Also, note that the name of my site is SEM Reach, with keywords in the title, not the whole title.

What makes it even more unbelievable is that your putting your word up against SEOMoz: http://www.seomoz.org/knowledge/title-tag and http://www.seomoz.org/ugc/page-title-op ... h-box-3821
