It was suggested in one reply to my other thread - that I should send people to a forum - even though, it's a fact that forums are tough to build, membership wise. Well, why am I saying that?
The reason is because most people enter a site - maybe even a good one - and don't come back! However, a list can be re-used over and over - to get those people who aren't so crazy about your site at first. In fact, using the same psychology - you can also sell to those people successfully (way higher probability)!
