Well always make backups if you want to ever go back.

OBJECTION!!!!MadMikeyB said:MyBB is the best free forum software, and vBulletin the best paid. Use one of those 😉

Recount and rebuild. It's normal for some stats to be off after a conversion, but if you recount the posts and threads, it should solve it.
As much as I agree with your objection, I don't think it's necessary to make it big and red 😛.Cosmic said:OBJECTION!!!!MadMikeyB said:MyBB is the best free forum software, and vBulletin the best paid. Use one of those 😉
IPB is the best paid. 😉
As for MyBB, I say yes. It is superior to all other (free) software in many, many ways. It's generally a lot more user friendly in almost every aspect. phpBB required 5 page loads to do anything.
el canadiano said:MyBB's template system is pretty easy to grasp, and it's simple. All you need to know is basic (x)HTML and CSS. You don't have to learn some proprietary coding system which doesn't really follow standards and such. Also, to me it makes no sense at all. Also, you'll love their plugins system, it's much easier to install mods than phpBB. The merge script is pretty easy to use too.
All objections must be big and red. It's just how things work. 😛el canadiano said:As much as I agree with your objection, I don't think it's necessary to make it big and red 😛.Cosmic said:OBJECTION!!!!MadMikeyB said:MyBB is the best free forum software, and vBulletin the best paid.
