A big thing is going on and people want you to buy silver and gold claiming the cash has no real backing and can fall (In fact, many are predicting an economic crash.). OK, is this threat real? Are you willing to make a move toward silver and/or gold?

People have been saying that for years, much more, since the U.S. government decided to no longer tacked the dollar to gold. I mean, since the dollar is no longer tacked to gold, there is a chance that the economy, and cash values could suddenly crash to the point of having super hyper inflation, where something that would normally cost $3-$4, would be worth $700 or more because of an economic crash.

Robert Kiyosaki, the real estate guru, is predicting one, even though Trump, whom he co-authored a book, is obviously saying the opposite.

Depends on what you're investing in. If you were to put all of your money into $SPX, that isn't necessarily bad. If you were to throw all your money into a pharma or biotech, than you might as well fly to Vegas and put it all on black.

I'm not sure about this. I think it depends where you are in the world. Places like where I stay (the UK) there's still a bit of room for cash (see attached link/s) though contactless tap and go seems to be slowly catching up. Myself, I'm of the old fashioned school and use mostly cash. Though debit payments are handy if your nowhere near an ATM. And how would you spend a gold/silver bar? I wonder, does anyone think we'll ever move over to a cashless society like they do in Star Trek.

The Crash of the Dollar is basically what Kiyosaki and others are talking about. Supposedly, that's going to do the world in. However, though, that would be just one in many strange things happening now, no offense to anyone suffering.
