As a member, what has an admin of a forum done to make you angry? What things do some admins do that just P's you off and pushes you over the edge?

Please exclude warnings and bans from your list/post...

One think that kind of annoys me is when admins take a skin/theme I was using down/away to force their newest one and then don't give the option for me to switch back to the old one.

I'm not against new skins/themes but I don't always want to switch because the old theme looks good or maybe it's just easier to read. (On one site they removed a darker theme and replaced it with a red theme. Which I just didn't like the look of. I found it too bright and some of the text was harder to read because the colour combination they used. Thankfully they restored the previous theme at least for a while anyway. )

This next thing isn't really something admins do that much (not that I've seen at least) but I've seen members do this a lot and it bothers me...
And that's complain about activity levels.
I know that admins are (typically) always concerned with activity levels. But they're concerned with making sure things are active and new content is being posted whenever possible (which often means doing a lot of posting themselves rather than just thinking about it). Though admins that do sit on their site and complain about activity levels without doing anything, I'm sorry I don't feel much sympathy for you if you haven't even posted at least 1 topic. (I mean if you're not even going to post, why should I post?)

But for members to come in and complain about a site's activity level (especially when there are new topics being posted)? Give me a break.
If you have time to complain about a site not being active enough for you... you have time to help make it more active. So there is no excuse for that whining. Admins alone cannot make a site succeed, they need members willing to post. And members that sit and complain about the site not being active enough only sabotage efforts by the admins and other members.

What Zero said is a good point. I hate when members do that and when an admin does it, is even worse The thing with the skins is also a great point!

What I hate is when other admins go to your site and try to steal members from you but to add insult to injury, they'll try to copycat your site in hopes that your members will become their members. This can be something as simple as the forum's overall structure, to a similar theme or even a modification/feature. I've seen this happen A TON and it really annoys me. I generally stay away from the site that was the copycat.

Another thing that annoys me is sites that start off as one thing but merge into something different because they feel they need to be 'the be all, end all' type of forum. A good example of this would be:
a forum for pets that turns gaming or a gaming forum that turns into PC repair, etc.

I don't really like sites which are copying others. There are times when I see a forum with forum description, layout, or even forum icons very similar to another forum I also visit. That's a big, big turn-off.

Inappropriate writing can also make me rather annoyed. While I understand English is not everyone's language, if the administrator/staff members can't even use English properly to communicate with fellow staff and members, how are they going to run the site? It's clearly shown on the way they write the forum descriptions or rules. There is time when you have to use proper grammar and when you can be more laid back with it.

I don't mind if people make mistakes in their important documents (I know I have...) but I'd be more annoyed if they ask for ways to improve and you point out that their documentation has some errors (and you actually point out the errors since just saying there are errors is a douche move and doesn't actually help at all). But after you point out errors they get angry with you for it then I'd be annoyed.
I mean why ask for ways to improve if you don't actually want to improve or think you're already so great that you don't need to improve?

Though regarding important documentation. Any cursing in those just bothers me. It tells me that the admin team is either: not mature enough, rude or doesn't care about being professional in their important site documents. And that (either way) that admin should not be running a site, they just aren't ready.
