Site links but not actual links

Yes I hate those! Whenever I'm online I try to remember to add http:// just to make life easier.

I feel sorry for the package team. I see some of the request topics and they're like domain.com ...

Now, I've ranted about a few small things before, but this doesn't even come close 😛

It's annoying, but it's 3 seconds you're wasting to copy the link and paste and enter.

This highly annoys me. I usually just cancel the deal, or not visit the site.

I guess I can be a bit picky about this as well. If you want members to actually bisit a site, you should type the url fully (if possible) and you should type it out correctly, like this:

http://www.google.com NOT google.com

There is, and its pretty common. It just adds the http:// to any links posted without it. But if you already include the http:// is will sometimes add another making the URL not valid.

I lol'd, but I don't really care about it. Nothing that bad, I can copy and paste.

So, you're saying... a MOD should stop people's laziness?

That's not even a joke, Oscar, I have heard of mods that'll fix up links so that there are actual links and it's not just something like google.com for example.

Yes, we do see a lot of those...We don't complain though, we just fix it ourselves.

You don't even know what you're on about.

It only takes two seconds to add a http:// in my books, it's considered laziness. I can do it with my eyes closed.

You don't even have to copy the text, just highlight and drag it into the browser bar. But yeah, if i'm in a rush in can annoy me, but I don't mind wasting the 3seconds it takes to drag/copy it.

This is true, and it's even on FP, but only when there is a "www" in front of the URL: http://www.google.com

(edit: that above was www . google . com and it was automatically corrected)

Why not use technology to make it more convenient and make the link live automatically? That's one of the main things technology is for.

While it can be a bit annoying, I don't think it is disgraceful, it annoys me a bit more when I click on working links that take you no were because a mark like !,.? etc was after the url. But once again it is easy to fix.

Any person that is remotely good at typing can type that with their eyes closed. In fact I just typed this entire sentence with my eyes closed.
