Embedding social feeds and sharing buttons boosts reach but may distract members. Should admins integrate social media prominently, or subtly? How do you measure effectiveness without compromising forum focus?
I think having social media logins are fine on forums, it makes joining them much easier for lots of people. Now as for the buttons, I think they should appear where the members can find them, some software has share buttons for different social media platforms either after every post in a thread or in the footer of the forum.
