Yeah but he seemed to be a really nice guy and all. We had some good chats. It seems I never knew the guy for real.

I still feel quite sad though to know all those other people hook up with a guy they don't even know so good as they think.

Lesson learned from this: You can't trust everyone on the Internet. You might think you do, but it may not always work out, and in some cases it doesn't. This is the exact reason why you have to choose your staff wisely, because you never know what could happen once you step off your forum.

Most people seem nice, then you get to know them.

I know it's never foolproof, but before I pick new staff I observe how they are in interacting with others on the boards, whether they ever cause any fishy issues, and ask other staff what they think, too. Also waiting 3 months minimum before considering someone for a promotion helps. It's well past the "good behaviour" phase although that phase seems a lot shorter online than IRL...

And all staff are promoted to the lowest level first, and we select higher level staff from the pool of them.

Guess I've just seen a fair bit of shock videos or something, most if not almost all that gross stuff is gake.
