Tech Observed Moves To Flarum

It will be different but here's hoping it works better for you 🙂

I don’t usually go for free forum software,
Xenforo is good but I don’t think it holds the sites future and the branding but thank you I do like it 😛

I understand it’s going to take time for people to adjust and that’s normal.

I like the look of Flarum and almost went with it for Crafter Craze but I got talked out of it by the guy who helped me set up the forum.

I can say there’s still a lot of work the developers need to do, But the concept itself is great and I’m sure they push it where it needs to be!

Interesting! What were his arguments against Flarum?

I too am really curious about what they said were the cons of Flarum.

True. It's very lightweight and built with 'extensions' in mind rather than bloating the core software.

I love it and it was foundered in Australia which is my home country and where I love currently!

I’m hoping these extensions won’t expire over time such as the PM feature but besides that if the plug-in developers remain dedicated I be okay!

Xenforo or Flarum are the best choice for forums atm.

I really like the way Flarum is built, it's a solid product and the extensibility of it is fantastic. Best of luck with Tech Observed 🙂

If I remember correctly, there weren't enough add ons for the things I wanted to do and he said that there was too much white space and you had to do a lot of scrolling to see things and that would deter new sign ups.

Since then they have made improvements so easier scrolling it depends if your old school or like the gen z's 😀
but i do get how it can be annoying!

The whitespace issue isn't really a big deal but I can understand that it does lack a lot of features compared to conventional forum softwares. Albeit that's a selling point for it. Never mind!

They say they purposely lack features to make it as light weight as possible I did find a amazing Flarum developer that fixed all these issues though 😀

I also updated the logo!

The themes are an issue there’s not many themes but besides that I love Flarum!
