Elizabeth Taylor is unforgettable in her role as Cleopatra. The clever personality was fit to a tee for Taylor that people have associated that role to her person. The movie is about the scheming ways of the woman to manipulate 2 men to do her bidding – Julius Caesar and Marc Antony. It was a love triangle of sorts that Cleopatra created to save the Egyptian empire from the claws of the invaders. Richard Burton played Marc Antony while Rex Harrison was Julius Caesar.
