The Day before Christmas
- Chapter 1
"Tomorrow Santa is coming!" Little Tommy (age 8) shouted at his dad Davis (age 38) while he was chopping wood outside. "Yes Tommy I am sure Santa will bring you many nice presents." Davis replied while he swings the axe in the air and chops a piece of wood. Tommy rushes through the door outside and gives Davis a hug.
Davis dropped his axe and feels his son close to him who asks: "Daddy come closer." Davis bends down and Tommy whispers: "Can Santa hear us now ?" Hmm he can, I heard rumors Santa can. That way find the kids who didn't behave last year." Davis looks to Tommy with a expression like he doesn't know what he is saying. Tommy looks at his dad and with a stunning face. "Tommy write down what you want from Santa on a sheet of paper." "Can't I say it out load so Santa can hear it what I want ?" Davis smiled and told his son: "You think Santa is going to remember all those kids shouting at him what they want ? He is growing old. If you write it down and he visits us he will know exactly what you want. So go and write it down." Tommy sprints back inside to his room and a load shout of happiness reflects on the walls in the house.
"I am home!" A loud voice appears on the drive, it is the mother of little Tommy, Michelle. (age 34) Who just came home from work. "O hello sweetheart, Tommy is so exited for tomorrow."
"Have you already invited our family for tomorrow Davis ?" His wife replied with a concerned face like she knew he maybe forgot to do it. "I have yes, the whole family will be there. You where thinking I had forgot didn't you ?" Davis looks curious at her. "No I .. was just checking in dear thats all." Right after both where done talking Tommy came back outside with a sheet of paper. "Look who we have here." Davis took Tommy on his shoulder and ask him what he wrote down. Tommy holds the sheet before his eyes and begins to read:
Dear Santa;
I am so eager to finally write to you again, I am so happy you are coming to our house.
I want for Christmas:
-A box of little cars,
-Toy Story dolls,
-A electric train with trail,
-A box with soldiers and 2 thanks,
-Strips of Robinson,
-Lego original,
-A toy excavator.
Thanks Santa I hope you like the biscuits and milk!

"Is that k daddy ?" Tommy ask wondering. "If those things are what you want son, and you have been a a good boy this year. Santa can't resist to make your wishes come true." Santa is coming, Santa is coming to our house. Tommy shouts at the neighbors. Tommy is tired and it was already evening, Davis puts him to bed and reads a fairy tale. After that he goes back to the living room. "Have you got the Santa suit ?" Michelle whispers." Yes I have in the closet in your bedroom." "We should go now quietly out the house and get some presents Tommy wants on his list." Michelle replies and holds the hand of Davis and kisses him for some time. "I love you, you know that" "Sweetheart I think Tommy loves you more then I do." (chuckles)
"We should go now to the shop." "Yes its already 9 PM, we should hurry up." Davis replies with a fast voice. So both go to the shop and buy some of the toys they can find that match the description of what Tommy wants. "He I think I see a box with cars there, lets get it. We should split up and try to find at least 6 presents for Tommy." While the couple was searching for present ... Something happened at home.
The unexpected Happened - Chapter 2
"This is a brilliant idea Max we are going to be rich with this!" Lee shouts at his brother. Both where amateur thief's for living, there dad left the house when Lee was 9 and his brother 5. There mother died soon after because of a depression. "You got that Santa suit ?" "Yes Lee, so who is going to play Santa my or you ?" "I will" Lee looks with his brown dark eyes and brown hair to the house across the street. "You see that house over there" He points to the house with the white roof. "Yea whats about it ?" Max ask like he doesn't know why his brother asks him. "Well there is no one awake or maybe no one is even home. We are going to robe in there." Why that house, the don't look very rich ?" Max asks. "Remember that house we robed 2 months ago that looked also very poor ? Well we found a safe with money in it." "What makes you so sure you will find money there to or something of value ?" Leo replies with a load voice: "Brother you just gonna listen to me, we robe that house!. Give me that suite I am going in. you back up me if something goes wrong, have the car ready." "Sure thing." Max replies and gets out of a box the Santa suit. Lee slowly walks closer and tries to force the lock with a crowbar. After some time the door is open, and his goes in with a bag with some presents in, a long white beard and a Santa hat. Every time he steps on the floor you could hear a load crack. He start searching the house and takes some cutlery and other furniture.
Tommy hears the load cracking of the floor and things its Santa. He opens slowly his eyes and says: "I can't belief this, I hear Santa." He steps out of bed and goes down stairs. "Yes I can take this, o that looks nice, hmm I take this to ..." Lee was enjoying it until ... "Santa is that you ?" Tommy asks amazed and very enthusiastic to the man. Lee things in his mind: Dammit! God dammit, that this has to happen to me argghh, wait I am dressed like Santa I can do this. "Shouldn't you be in bed young man ?" With a forced voice Lee tries to be Santa, and it seems to work. "Don't tell my parents please, have you eaten the biscuits ?" "O yes they where very tasty. Now go to bed young man and forget this ever happened." Lee replies.
"But what about my presents ?" Tommy asks. He runs to the fireplace to take his note with the list of presents he wants from Santa, and goes back to the man dressed like Santa.
"Can I get this presents please Santa ? (breathes faster) I have been a good boy. (Standing with both his hands crossed.) I am so happy to see you finally." (laughs happy)
Lee was Stuck - Chapter 3
"Well Tommy I want to belief you. (Searches with his hands in the pockets of his suit.) But I forgot my list of children. But I have some present for you (Looks deep in the bag with his eyes.) "Sigh, sorry Tommy but I forgot the presents." Lee replies this time, with a shacking voice. You told me I could have presents! (Tommy shouts and start crying) Meanwhile outside Max saw the neighbors that live to the right of Tommy's house talking, and talking. He didn't hear about what but it looked very suspicious. Until one of the people takes his phone and calls: (?) He didn't know, but at the looks of there faces he knew that they knew something was not right in Tommy's house. Max calls Lee immediately: Lee hears his cell phone beeping and takes it out of his pocked with background a crying child. "You need to get out there, the neighbors are getting suspicious, cops are coming!" (cursing) Lee puts his cell phone back and his panting and cursing at the same time. "Santa don't go!" Tommy shouts at him, meanwhile he didn't cry anymore. "I have to, its getting to noisy and the other kids might get jealous at you." "But Santa I ..." (gets interrupted by a couple of sirens) Max had Left when he heard the noise of the sirens, leaving his brother to the cops. "Dammit!" Lee shouts. "What are the police doing here ?" Tommy asks surprised. Well euh ... (thinking, swallows a few times) I asked them to come, its a game. "What kind of game ?" Tommy asks curious with a voice wanting to know more.
The Game with Santa - Chapter 4
Lee swallows again and holds his hand on his forehead and doesn't move for a while. But right out of the blue he got an idea, maybe to save himself from the cops ? "Tommy boy Santa wants to hide in the house from the fake cops (little laugh). You know a good hiding place ?" Lee ask with a forced and a afraid voice because he knows Tommy is the only one that can help him now to get away.
Or (grins) he could use his gun and hold Tommy hostage, but he never wanted to be a bad person so he was far from considering that. (Cough cough for now.)
"Euh our basement has a hole where all the conduit and wires are connected. You could hide there Santa. But why do you want to hide ? And what is this game about ?" (Yawns)
Well (swallows, wets his lips) soon cops will come through that door (points with his finger to the entrance hall main door) and they will ask you question, they are very good actors so act to. "What will they ask then ?" Tommy asks with a load voice. "You will see, its a surprise. Santa is proud of you. Ho, Ho, Ho" Lee fast crawls to the basement, but instead of hiding in the hole, he goes trough a ventilation shaft to escape prison. Meanwhile cops storm the house and Tommy gets allot of questions asked. "What was all that noise ? Are you alone ? What happened ?" And so on. Tommy shouts: "Leave me alone I don't like this game Santa!" cop: "A game, Santa ?" And it was not soon thereafter they found it all out. But it was to late Lee was gone and learned from the situation its better to do good then bad.
Home Coming - Chapter 5
2 hours past and Davis and Michelle where don't buying presents but where still looking around, until ... a call came. Davis takes his sell phone out of his pocked and answers: "Hello you speak with Davis Grono." "Sir we belief that your house has been robbed." A cop replied with a questioning voice. Davis starts to panic and replies on the phone: Is my son Tommy save ?
"Yes sir, we think the thief was dressed like Santa to fool your son and steal what he could take." Davis puts the phone on his chest and speaks to his wife. "Sweetheart something terrible happened but it has ended well. We where robbed." O god no, is Tommy alright ? O and what did the thief took ? Why had this to happened one day before Christmas ?" She asks hopeless and begins to cry. Davis cheers up his wife and gives here a good hug and says: "We be alright, Tommy is save. Now lets go in our car and see for ourself how bad it is. Shall we.
The couple arrived and where happy to see Tommy and smiled for a long time, and now knew that having a child has more value then anything else!
