Most of us have fallen victim to a thief in one form or another. This person, or these people have either stolen personal possessions from you, whether it's material items or maybe even your companion. Then, a thief also have the power, if allowed, to rob you of your peace of mind.

But, what's troubling the most is most people aren't aware that there's another thief who wants to, and has been doing his best to rob you of the most valuable possession that you'll ever have - your eternal life.

Most people practice hedonism cause it's fun. Of course, though, it can probably be shown to be an unwise choice. Nonetheless, with all the brain chemicals being worked up by drugs or whatever, then nobody cares.

As for pride, jealousy - all that stuff, that's another thing also.

As a side note, it doesn't seem like hedonism bothers anyone - unless the person is a drug addict making people's lives miserable in their attempt to score. On the other hand, petty jealousy makes all sorts of hell for innocent people who did nothing to deserve it. I mean, I'm guessing there are a lot of cases of men sleeping with other guy's wives just out of jealousy for the men.
