Like Jesus Christ Superstar, hated by religious conservatives - but it was one of the best in the sense it tried to show a less "plastic" Jesus - who people can relate to more. I didn't see that anywhere it was showing him to be a sinner, but only one tempted by sin - and the fantasy scene of him being married - was fantasy.

Unlike Jesus Christ Superstar which I enjoyed and still enjoying during the season of Lent, I didn't like the part of this movie that showed the temptation. It was like depicting Jesus as an ordinary human like us. I don't think the Bible writers will agree to the interpretation of the screenwriter and the director but I agree that it is their privilege for that presentation because it is their film. Some Catholics say the film is blasphemous.
