I didn't get "fired." I resigned. I'll give you the reason that I gave everyone else. I discovered something recently and it has grabbed my attention so much that I'm making it a lifetime thing. With the new discovery I discovered there's a lot more than just a computer...Have you seen the movie G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra? Well in the movie is an example, this guy discovered something underground and he thought it was so beautiful and the scientist that was there told him he'd show him everything so he never came back out and eventually he becomes a powerful scientist. It's like the same scenario.. Get it?

O.O Darth! I never knew there was a movie on the greys. I'll definitely have to see that. Oh LMAO I thought it was the alien greys not the movie "The Grey."

Even so, there are many popular ones out there but not all of them are providing top notch service, for example why would you make it so expensive to get ads off your forum if people are using the service because they don't have cash to host their own forum :shrug:

I wouldn't actually strech as far as calling them greedy. As you say servers are expensive and they also need to make a living, it just isn't a profitable business, especially not if you are trying to run a one man band.

You make a good point, however there's a few major free hosts that are successful enough for me to see that it can be a profitable business, as long as it's run right. Which brings you back to why the ad removal and other upgrades are so expensive :great:

But then you have to split your profits with these people, and then you just end up like the hosts you feared becoming like 😉

Yup, I don't really care about cash to be honest. The script I've found (phpBB) is around $10 a month, if I got that in return I would be happy, even if the guy paying for the hosting made double what he pays a month :shrug:
