Well it is but at least you can see a gain from it. I can't see a gain from giving loads of people free forums which I can be 99.9% sure they will close in a week when they aren't magically active overnight. Considering my experience from the forum world I would actually not start a forum host just to try and save the dignity of already existing forums and not create something that will contribute even more to the killing of forums which these noobs that start a forum per week are doing.

You make a great point, but that open/close process contributes to the learning of a lot of nubs; I know it helped me :great:

It may help them to learn but in the sheer amount it is now it is strangling forums that are actually serious and it is getting harder and harder for people to run their forums due to it.
 
Opening and closing helped me with my coding forum and my two admin forums helped me learn a lot 😛
 
I don't see it being harder and harder, just a bit annoying sometimes 😉

I bought 400g package of salted peanuts today and the package says "it may contain cluteen (?) and nuts".

Can you imagine, nuts can contain nuts ... Hope it doesn't!
 
Yea I figured that out myself too, but it's still so funny. 😀

I think it will take days until I finish all these nuts...
 
Going camping next week. I'll be out of pocket from Monday - Friday. Fun stuff.
