Third time around, Recommend on Hosting Company's

My site TheSurge.net uses a shared hosting plan from HawkHost. The whoishostingthis site lists softlayer but if you look at the nameservers they say Hawkhost.

Servers are up and running currently. I am not aware of when they last went down or the problem, but nothing from my site has ever been lost due to a server issue with them.

I'm aware of that, and there is no such thing as UNLIMITED Bandwidth, Databases and so on.

I've never used them so I can't comment on their support teams, uptime, etc. But their plans offer higher bandwidth and storage than Hawkhosts.

Really? Are you on VPS? If so then that has put me off from using them.

I been talking to a member on webhosttalk.com that runs https://mightweb.net/ and they do core management support and the reviews are great and mightweb is another hosting service that I'm looking into

It was shared, one of their servers shut down for some reason.

And about Scala, they don't have a good reputation.

Most of those reviews are back in 2007-2013. I personally never had an issue with their billing system and I have never even interacted with their billing department as I have never encountered any issues.

I was on Hawkhost years ago through the generosity of a friend, and while I've never had to go through them for support that I can remember, it was a really nice experience overall. Awesome uptime more than anything. I would really recommend these guys.

Website Forums runs on PremiereHost. They've always done a good job of keeping us online, and Mike is an awesome guy to host under. He's very supportive and is always helpful with his replies to questions. I'd highly recommend them if you're looking for a new host.

Which plans are expensive? Our shared hosting is as low as $14/year, or $5/month for unmetered specifications, and our resellers range from $10-$20/month which beats every reseller out there. We don't offer VPS at the moment. How big is your site? We can put you on an unlimited shared. Let us know if you need anything 🙂
