Thoughts on Christmas at your forum

Have you got any thoughts as to what you'll do for Christmas this year on your forum?

Well I used to run a big contest during Christmas, secret Santa, change the theme, etc.

Will make the forum all "Christmas" like. 🙂 I have a few ideas.

If my site launches by then I suppose I'll put up some Christmas stuff. I won't change the theme or anything though dramatically due to the table widths I've set up for some pages. If I have a different sized theme it will stuff up half the articles on the site.

I don't think I will be doing anything special this year, but it will depend on how we're doing by then.

Probably a Xmas skin (if we are in MyBB) or some contest (if we are in phpBB).

I'll probably add some snow to the forum with CSS, but other than that...not sure. Might have a little contest, but I have no clue if that would work 😛

...I got to get a snow looking skin done by then XD Get everyone in that Xmas spirit.

We'll go all out too on holiday stuff, Santa stuff, Xmas decorating and probably several roleplay events that have that "christmas spirit" going on!

There is a bit of a tradition at my forum where members change their usernames to 'Christmassy' names. For example, I usually change mine from 'fantanoice' to 'santanoice'. We also change our default theme to a Christmas theme.

Giveaways sometimes occur as well depending on how generous we are feeling. 😛

I will be adding a christmas theme and there will be a christmas contest - similar to what I have done for halloween. We may do a secret santa as well. 🙂

I'll put up a chirstmas theme (wont make it default, just add it to the skin selector). Maybe add a little santa hat to the mascot on the main skin. We might do a contest of some sort too.
