Lol. No, it isn't. I was like that at first, still kind of am. Then I started to think, so what? If people criticize your work, it can only help you to become a better writer. ^^ That's only constructive criticism though, other kinds just screw that. It's your writing and yours' only, and no one can take that away from you.
