Topics I would NOT allow are:

Illegal substances ( drugs)

Politics

Religion

Sexuality Discussions

What about you folks?

I wouldn't mind religion, politics, and sexuality on my forums, but that's just me.

What I do not allow would be:

Drugs, Warez Linking or Discussion, harassing of any topic, and some other types of topics that are just common sense.

In regards to my board, it would be any topic that violates the TOS of Invisionfree and anything meant to start a flame war intentionally. That's pretty much it.

Offensive is a rather subjective word that means different things to each person. Just saying offensive don't mean much on its own till the definition you would give to offensive is given.

Spam and flaming is about the only thing i do not tolerate on my forum.

I allow my members to discuss stuff such as pornography in the Mature Discussion forum - however posting pornography or linking to pornography is against the rules. Topics about warez are allowed - but posting warez, linking to warez sites or warez downloads is against the rules. Topics about sexuality are allowed allowed but posting or linking to sexually explicit material isn't.

I'm with Travis and birdy - what is appropriate and inappropriate has less to do with the topic at hand and more to do with the manner in which it is discussed.

My rules are fairly detailed. I don't allow anything like warez, and so on, or is not fit for an audience too far above 13, partially due to the subject matter of the forum rather than personal preference.

Could you specify which of the two sentences you referred to? Havign fairly detailed rules is quite possible and I'm not talking about the law of every coutnry in existence of course.

Mainly because it would "start flame wars". I don't agree with a rule like that though, so long as it isn't anything which would 100% chance start a flame war.
