Does anyone here use a touch screen monitor for your PC?

I considered getting one at some point but then changed my mind and that's probably because of cost!

I'm old-fashioned & don't care for the touch screen. I like using the keyboard & mouse on my desktop.

My work computer has touch screen, it's a laptop though. I forget that it's touch screen! I don't think you're missing out.

Chromebook, smartphones and tablets 😉 I'm not a fan of touchscreen PCs

I have one but never use it, old school keyboard and mouse

So I work in IT and these things absolutely annoy me. Too many people in my work have these and put their hands all over it and when they bring it to me to help fix it I hate seeing all the fingerprints and marks all over the screen when I am trying to work.

I have an option on my monitor to convert to touch screen. Tried it once and didn't care for it. I'll stick with my keyboard and mouse.

My laptop has a touch screen and it's extremely useful with certain things. It's actually annoying because when I use a normal laptop, I sometimes accidentally try to click on things using the screen :tearsofjoy:

I did for a laptop I had,but it’s not really helpful unless you like to take notes on it with a stylus or an apple like pencil.

No. Because I don't like leaving fingerprints all over my computer screen. I'll stick with a key board lol

My laptop has a touch screen on it. 😀

I wouldn't say I use it all that much though (the touch screen part).

I’ve had a laptop with a touch screen a couple of times, and the screens didn’t last. Ended up having different issues with touchscreen no longer working or it automatically sensing touch and me having to just disable the feature altogether. I’ve pretty much avoided touch screen computers since then. I’m sure they’re much better than they were back then, but I don’t think it’s worth the extra cost.

I'm sorry you had problems. I haven't had problems with mine so far.

Depending on the model, touchscreens aren't that much more expensive than regular displays. I'm working on replacing one right now for a client, and was slightly surprised at the cost.
