Over here, we have the tricycle and pedicab that plies the streets for passengers as alternative to buses and jeepneys. The tricycle is a motorcycle with the so called side car that can ride 2 or 3 passengers. The pedicab is almost the same but it’s a bicycle instead of motorcycle. Their specialty is the short ride of a kilometer or less. So instead of walking, the people ride in those makeshift vehicles. And that’s what makes the people here lazy to walk.

On the contrary, the department of health had issued an advisory for the pedicab drivers to be conscious of their health particularly the lungs because the most common ailment of pedicab drivers is weak lungs due to abuse. It is not easy to push the pedal when you have 2 or more passengers particularly if the road is not flat. Pedicab drivers have to exert maximum effort in those cases that may be the reason that weaken their lungs.
Here in New York City people are still not entirely pleased with the horse drawn carriages people take through central park or the streets of new york at times. It was a sort of romantic or classic feature of the big apple in the old days. But animal rights activists feel it's abuse towards animals. As the carriage operators are sometimes not very nice to their horses. Some horses are also hit by cars at times as they're trying to maneuver the streets. Many people felt putting the animals under this sort of duress or in that sort of danger for a 15 minute romantic ride was quite foolish.
The zoos are the worst ones. They should be shut down. Never thought I'd say it, but it's true.
