Thursday evening the United States launched a swift response to the current Syrian regime's use of chemical weapons against its own people. With Russia backing the current regime led by Assad, this will undoubtedly raise tensions between an already tense U.S.-Russia relationship.

Irregardless of that I agree with the strike after the reports of innocent civilians, including children and babies being killed in the gas attack. This is also not the first time Assad's military has focused on civilian targets either, with previous targeted bombings of hospitals and other gas attacks.

What are your thoughts?

I believe it was completely justified. It was interesting how the United States really sent a message not only to Assad, but to the entire world to not be a complete jerk. I don't know why Russia is being all gun ho after we avenged the lives of more than 70 men, women, and children that were effected by this nerve agent. Needless to say the airbase in Syria was COMPLETELY annihilated after the U.S. was done with them.

I as well completely agree with the missile launch on Syria. A gas attack on civilians was more than unjustified. The USA made a good stand to show the world that attacking civilians will not go unpunished.

Yeah, this action was well planned and well executed.

I still don't support any regime change except in very extreme circumstances, but this seems like a proportional response.

This is the second time I agree with USA meddling with the internal issues of a different country. The first one was when they raised their voice against bombing in hospitals in war affected zones.

I back the President in his decision.

This is why I do not understand why people freak out over Trump having relations with Russia. Russia is the only country that could come close to retaliation against the US, so having strong ties with them is a good thing.

People rather have nuclear war with Russia and death of half of the world population than be buddy buddies with Russia. That's why.

Logic: Who would ever want peace?
