UEF FIRST OFFICIAL CONTEST


That's right, you heard it correctly! UEF is launching it's first official contest since the grand opening of the site! All peoples are encouraged to partake in this contest, as the prize is quite a generous one.

CONTEST DESCRIPTION:

The 50th member to register on the forum and have a minimum of 20 posts will win the contest and receive the grand prize.

CONTEST LOCATION:

The contest is being held on the UEF forums, http://www.unitedearthforum.com/, so get going!

CONTEST RULES:

- Must be the 50th member registered on the forum
- Must have a minimum of 20 posts
- 20 posts have to be a decent size, and not include spam or violate the forum rules
- Posts must be in ENGLISH

CONTEST PRIZE:

The first member to meet the requirements, will have his or her site globally announced across ALL forums for 3 months period. The announcement will be of your choice, and you are to write your own advertisement to be announced. It can include a live link and an optional 468x60 banner.

I like that you are making a contest...but I do not think that this is the right one for you. Saying that you must be the 50th member to register on the forum just makes them wait till you have 49 members and you do not know how long that will take since every is probably going to wait.

I think that you should just make like a posting contest or a referral contest. That is what I usually do and have seen people do when their forum has just started out.

Thanks for the input Havok. This was my first time doing a contest, so I really didn't know what would work or wouldn't work.

I'll give this contest another 24-48 hours time, then I'll expire it and try a contest the way you suggested and just edit my posts where I have placed them.
