Does your college or university gives away paid software for free or at a discounted rate, and what do you think of it?
Yes, all the previous colleges I attended gave away or discounted paid software made by Microsoft, and Adobe.
I think it is great since I like free and discounted paid software.
But, in a way, I think the college is selling or giving away paid software to students because MS and Adobe gave them an incentive or donation, so the students be hooked/addicted on MS software for life instead of using free or cheaper paid alternatives made by smaller independent software maker.
