Due to the recent release of Wikileaks Vault 7 information. CIA can get direct access, thanks to be allowed by certain companies were given special back door access to your personal computers from certain programs most common people use.

Knowing the FP community most common would be obviously Skype and Notepad++. If you are using anything else the list is above. If you have any of the said programs you are willingly and giving free rain access to who knows who from the CIA to remotely can access to your PC without your permission or knowledge.

Stay safe and be smart and look up guides to remove the said malware.

The title is a bit misleading I think. From what I gather, this is what we've learned:
  • The CIA can remotely hack into almost any computer.
  • The CIA has tools that allow them to extract data more easily from certain programs after they've hacked into your computer.
  • That's where these DLL injections come in. They have a special "virus" that they inject into your installation of Skype or Notepad++ that tells them everything you put into it.
  • To actually inject this virus, they first have to gain access to your machine. But they can do that, because they have exploits for basically everything.
  • The year is 1984; welcome to Oceania
So to be clear, Skype and Notepad++ are not themselves malware. The CIA just has special tools to slurp data from them like a straw, once they hack your computer.

It isn't misleading when you put it that way. You are still saying they can still directly influence your PC regardless from those two programs.

It does come down to how much freedom is worth it to each individual. If you could care less to have freedom or not, but as the saying goes.
