well utd can't get any worse with or without Rooney, best players for man utd at the moment are Giggs and Scholes and they are in their 30's lol

Chelsea doesn't need Rooney. The combination of Drogba and Anelka is more than good enough. Besides, having good players is one thing, but the winners are good players who play together well.

Man U can get quite a lot for him, and it would be good, cause they're in quite a lot of debt under the Glazers.

Yes, that combination is good... for about 2 more years. They are both 30+ and won't last too much longer probably. Rooney would fit in and play well with the rest of the team just nicely.
