Well they may like helping other people. The owners of big hosting companies visit webhostingtalk.com and they are earning thousands if not millions. Its a similar concept.

@ryan not the same sorry, the companies are visiting WHT to give offers and gain revenue off the website by gaining new people. Your saying of your website is someone coming to 'help out' when they have to worry about their own website.

I dont agree with you they go onto them forums to talk to other people about the web hosting business and then to advertise their services as well. Another forum is The Wholesale Forums, there are some people on there that are making a lot of money that go on their to talk to people and to help people. I could understand some web entrepreneur that is worth $5 million may not come on the site but not all web entrepreneurs have that much money. There are people that earn thousands if not millions that visit forums, how would you know though?

@Raymond: A forum is where people gather to discuss about a particular interest, regardless of how "good" or "successful" they are at that subject.
