WebArtz

I like the style. Could use the forum statistics actually showing at the bottom though. Looks like you have a lot of posts from the looks of the sections. Nice clean theme too. Great job and I wish you the best of luck in the future.

Thank you very much. The forum stats are showing, but they’re separated into different tabs. Do you think that’s a mistake?

Yes, there are plenty of posts and topics, but the forum was inactive for a long time. About 20 days ago, I began a sort of restoration, so to speak.
The theme is the old one—more than a decade old—but I don’t want to replace it with something clean or modern, because the idea is to keep the old-style forum alive.

I don't know if it's a mistake. Just that when clicking the tab it only showed the amount of members and not the thread and post counts. Would bring more people in if it was easily displayed just because it would be a high amount. But great work either way.

Today was my OMG moment when I saw that WebArtz is back!

When I was running my first forum, 10 years back, WebArtz was my go to place for all help I needed regarding coding. Since that was my beginning years, I wanted a lot of help and WebArtz was the first place I turned to.

Saket was my biggest help around here, though I dont know if he/she is still around. Its so good to see that Webartz is maintianing the original freshness, theme and ways of doing things here.

You wpuldnt believe, out of nostalgia, I randomly tried accessing your domain and it showed that the forum is back! Then I checked in FP and I saw your forum listed in the directory!!!!

A Big thankyou for bringing this back!

You are very welcome. I am glad you had a great day once you saw the forum active yet again. ^_^

Dear forum members,

With great pleasure, we are happy to announce that we’ve finally completed the development of the new WebArtz Forum Theme. We were aiming for something fresh, artistic, and unique.

Unfortunately, this also means we must part ways with our old theme, which has been our trademark for many years. While we cherish its legacy, the decision comes primarily due to numerous bugs that are difficult to identify and require excessive effort to resolve.

What's new?

  1. Forum Theme
  2. Upcoming competitions
  3. Free Theme
  4. Forum Reviews
  5. Magazine

Forum Theme

  • Custom Toolbar: We’ve decided to replace the old FM design with a fresher look while maintaining the same functionality.
  • Unique Profile Presentation: From now on, you can view any user’s profile (yours or others’) with detailed statistics such as the number of posts, topics, and friends. You’ll also find all contact information, general details, rank progress, and both earned and unearned badges.
You can check my profile page: https://www.webartzforum.com/h8-userprofile-page?uid=1
  • Redesigned Post Structure:The post layout has been completely revamped and optimized to better support our features. The reputation system now works through an up-arrow icon next to each post—clicking it will display a green checkmark to confirm your vote.
Additionally, we've introduced a like system using heart icons instead of the traditional thumbs-up.
Finally, when you click “Thanks” on a post, a small message will appear indicating that the post owner has thanked the user.
  • We've decided to implement awards (badges) for all of you. We hope you will enjoy.
  • Footer Statistics Update: The footer statistics section has been redesigned to provide information at a glance—simply hover over each item to reveal more details.
  • Profile Cover Photo: We've added a customizable cover photo to your user profile! You can change it anytime here https://www.webartzforum.com/profile?mode=editprofile
  • GitHub Launch: We’ve opened a GitHub account where we’ll be sharing code updates you might find useful, in addition to the tutorials we already provide.

Upcoming competitions

Competitions Are Back! As you may know, WebArtz Forum has hosted many exciting competitions in the past with unique rewards—and we’re excited to continue that tradition!
Starting in July, we’ll be launching two new competitions with awesome prizes. Stay tuned for more details!

Free theme?

Free Summer Theme Incoming! This month, we’ve decided to create a free Summer Theme as a seasonal contribution. But before we begin, we’ll open a new thread where you can vote on which forum version you’d like to see the theme developed for. Isn't that just lovely?

Forum reviews

That's right, you read that correctly! From now on, we’ll be accepting your requests to rate your forum based on several standards — and it's completely free!

Forum magazine

We have decided to launch a monthly edition of our very own WebArtz Magazine!
Each issue will feature a variety of exciting content—though we won’t reveal everything just yet, as we don’t want to spoil the surprise. A new edition will be released at the end of every month, with the first issue scheduled for release at the end of July.
We sincerely hope you find this new addition both interesting and enjoyable.

Great job on reviving the forum it’s not an easy thing to do.

My only feedback would be that on mobile, it doesn’t look quite right (see attached screenshot) - I think it needs a little tweaking.

Hello and thank you for the feedback. The theme was intentionally made only to be okay with desktop version and not mobile. We will keep this in mind.

Two more days left to participate in our competition for winning Forum Points: https://www.webartzforum.com/t4032-cube-field-competition
