That is false,I have avast always on and scan with malware bytes ,nothing bad has happened. I do it all the time at school and at work.( I am a Comptia A+ computer technician. and a student training for my network+ and security + certs)profx said:if the AV is turned on whilst scanning with malwarebytes or something similar, they can interfere with eachother. 😛
