I've been playing Cassette Beasts on my Xbox Series S! I beat two rangers so far and caught 32 beasts. It's similar to Pokemon but also different enough to be it's own game. You record beasts using a cassette player and blank tapes. In battle you and your friend transforms into the beasts themselves so it's also similar to Digimon in ways too.
Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land.
Been itching for a new game to play because I've been largely bored with the ones I have lately. (I'm sure I'll circle back to them eventually, but I'm just not feeling any of them at the moment.) 10/10, loving it so far! I really enjoy the battle style, and the graphics are very nice too. (Not top tier graphics because I'm playing on a Switch Lite, but still good quality!) I'm not very far into the game yet, but this definitely seems like a series I'd be invested in and interested in getting more games from in the future.
I've been playing through Red, Blue and Yellow versions. Also the Mega Drive Sonic games via Sonic Origins. I'm at Carnival Night Zone in Sonic 3 and Knuckles now. I'm doing a few challenges in the Gen 1 games. In Blue I'm using only poison type moves. In red, I'm only using water type moves and finally in Yellow I'm going to showcase catching all 151 Pokemon in one cartridge. I'm playing these games on my Super Gameboy so on real hardware.
Been vibin' on Mario Kart World after picking it up with the Switch 2 launch. I'm a Koopa Troopa on a bike main, but Cow in a lil dump truck sparks much joy in my life.
I've been playing Gex 3 Deep Cover Gecko since the Gex Trilogy finally came out! Thought the launch hasn't been that great... There's audio bugs in Gex 2 Enter the Gecko and Gex 3, also the Switch 2 can't even play the Switch version of the game. :\
I'm getting ready to hook up my Sega Saturn to celebrate Sonic's 34th anniversary! I'm going to play my copy of Sonic Jam and talk about what got me into the franchise and what I love about the series!
