My daughter has a bulldog and a guinea pig. For the pig I'm just getting her blueberries because she loves those as a special treat.
For the bulldog I have 3 soft toys. I say soft because she has some braided and knotted toys that she uses as weapons and my legs are tired of being bruised.
Ouch! Some dogs can be quite rough. Ours will crash into me sometimes lol
Our dog doesn't play with toys hardly. So what we do is spend extra cuddle & walk time with her. Our cats don't seem to care lol
We have a guinea pig and the cat from two doors down likes to treat our house as his second home when his owners are out working and such 🙂 so we have also bought him a little something for Christmas as well.
For the guinea pig, Alvin he has toys and some treats
For the cat, snowball he has a cat nip toy 🙂
For my birds and my cat, I got them some toys and treats. They also have advent calendars that we've been opening every day this month. (The birds have a mix of toys and treats in theirs that I had to DIY myself, and the cat just gets toys in hers.)
If I remember, I'll be picking up some hornworms for my leopard gecko and maybe some bloodworms or brine shrimp for my fish as a treat (if we don't still have any of the frozen bloodworms that I can give them).
I just never thought of it like that, we always have our boundaries and I always make my dog feel so free and loved at home. We talk when I am upset with him and we talk when I am happy too. I give him good and healthy food. He is always updated with all the vaccinations and routine medication like Deworming. He has his Sampoos and collar belt and he is registered which means I pay tax on him. I do not know if we are going to start Christmas and birthday presents now.
I got him a brand new bed. It's safe to say the he loves it - he's sound asleep in his kennel even when I come outside in the mornings. Normally, he'd be knocking on my door early in the morning for his food. Now, he sleeps in.
