What did you do on your forum or blog today?

Let's keep this thread going as a spot to give daily updates on what we're doing to our forums and blogs!

Today I responded to some threads and then created a couple of new discussions.

I actually did not visit my own forums. I only visited Forum Promotion and Admin Junkies so far, lol.

I just added a new thread and replied to a few older threads. I'm thinking of posting more threads too of course, the creative juices are flowing through my mind this evening lol.

This evening I added a prayer thread for President Biden who tested positive for Covid.

Today I'm trying to work out why I can update php on my test site to version 8.3 but not on the identical live site.

I had written my pastor for some answers to questions a member asked and today I provided that member the answers.

I made a couple new threads. Emailed all my members about our $25 freeroll next Sunday. I'll also be adding more episodes of The Big Game to our poker media section, and probably make a couple more posts.

Finally got around to working on a new post for my blog. Started brainstorming for the next one. Hopefully I won't be as delayed getting this one out.

I cleaned spam. It had been a week since I visited my forum and when I went there today, there were a lot of spam

I spent some time updating a few plugins and responding to member posts. I also brainstormed ideas for new threads.

I have 4 forums. I'm happy to finally be getting back into the love of forums. 🙂

I post daily on each of them, with at least 3 new topics spread throughout the main niche sections.

I reply to any posts from members and try to keep the discussion going if applicable.

I remove spam when it get's caught.

Today's rounds have been just creating new topics, replying to members, and reorganizing some categories and boards to make the UX friendlier.

Anyway, I added a new code to mine which lets people quote highlighted text. Works well I must say 😀
