As of here recently the rules to the marketplace and other features have changed at https://www.digitalpoint.com/

Full list of features changed is here: https://forums.digitalpoint.com/help/established

I believe its kinda hard to get 3 DIFFERENT established users to "like" your post. Not only do most users do not use the likes system, there also is a limited number of established members that will like posts. I think the requirements are alittle too hard, and members like I who have been their multiple years (without ban) and many postings, should be able to post in the marketplace still.

Although you can skip the requirements by purchasing "Premium membership" I dont wanna pay 25 for only one month of using the marketplace.

I believe its a scheme to make money for DP, while I think they well deserve it, I believe dedicated users should be allowed around this system somehow.

what are your feelings on the Updated requirements?

It took me a bit of time to get that final like which I needed (I had some reputation on posts which converted themselves into 2 likes). I dislike the new system. I think activity on the marketplace has suffered. Do three likes help to reduce fraudulent transactions on the marketplace? I don't really think so.

DP has changed a lot over the past years. I don't like it.

Excuse me for maybe not noticing, but what exactly has changed about the marketplace rules? I seem to remember them requiring likes for quite some time now. Which in itself, I don't think is that effective, because you can easily buy likes at a handful of websites for a dollar or two.

3 likes from " trusted " members as if they would make you a quality seller or anything.
Stupid rule, as if i can't spend 3 dollars to get the likes and post my scammy ad or anything..

Re: What do you think about DigitalPoint's New Marketplace r

Pretty much completely pointless. If an individual is serious about trying to scam others, they can easily find ways to bypass this new rule (such as what Thanoz mentioned). Meanwhile, it simply hurts more legitimate users.

I am a trusted member on DP, though DP is becoming such an annoying place to be, people now posting more crap than before just to get likes, it became an a** licking place just to get a spot on the marketplace but even the marketplace has become an annoying place, I slowly quitting DP, still making some deals on investments I run, but nothing much in other threads anymore
