I like the New Myspace. I like the new music player on the website which lets me listen to music hosted on Myspace for free while I browse the website.

The new design also looks pretty nice.

It's a nice site now, much nicer looking, more useful, and more unique to other social networking sites. Do I think this is going to make MySpace relevant again? No. It's too late for that. It'll bring in some new members and bring back old ones, though, so MySpace did good to do it. Can't really think of a negative side to this, but no major bright side that'll make me keep going back, either.

Teens and young adults might be more likely to join Myspace since it is a site where their parents are less likely to be on since their parents are now on Facebook.

I agree with this. I haven't touched MySpace in a few good years. I use Facebook more often than not now. I had MySpace as a teenager...I liked it at first, but then when they kept doing stupid revamps and crap, almost to the point where you couldn't find the links for blogging and such, that's when I lost faith in them and eventually gave up on them. I might do a test account just to see what it's like, but aside from that, my MySpace days are over.

The new myspace is sexy. Am I going to use it? most likely not.

It looks nice, but I have absolutely zero interest in ever using it. After all, why should I join a social network site that no one I know is on already? And why a site like Myspace which still has a pretty well known negative reputation it still has to shake off.

That is the point why most did not join Google+ either with its unique features and such. The fact is, it is hard to get a starting group going when you have to convert EVERYONE over, or a good amount of friends to convert over to your site.

It looks nice, but I never used it in the first place anyway and doubt I will be starting anytime soon.

I think it looks interesting. Have I used the old one, no. Will I use the new one, no. But I'm sure many will enjoy the relaunch of it.

I actually think the home page, the background pic, looks a tad decieving, really. With that particular pic, it almost gives off the impression that the site is only geared towards musicians and bands, not something for your averaga users.

That is because it is. The whole website is now a musical spot like it was when the majority of the general users left Myspace.

Huh...that's sort of...neat. Not sure what to think about that one.

I read Justin Timberlake who is one of the members of Nsync now owns a share in Myspace, so it is a music site.

I bet when Justin Timberlake acts in more movies, he would make a section of Myspace to promote his films.

I remember Nsync. Still listen to them occasionally. That'd be kind of interesting on Justin if it were true.

Looks like poop now lol

Tom should have stuck with the original theme/layout forever, his loss

I liked the nice, easy original layout they had myself. Links were actually EASY to find... you didn't have to turn things upside down just to find what you were looking for. After a while, things started getting pathetic in terms of layout, I kept giving these guys chances and one day I just thought that enough was enough. I was finished practically playing hide and seek just trying to find out what certain features and functions did. I was both pissed and disappointed in the end, because I was at one point following my favorite religious artist, Michael W. Smith on MySpace and I was thoroughly enjoying the videos/blogs he was coming out with at the time. Now all I have for resources on him is Facebook and his own site Friends Online. Kind of sucks, really, but I guess that's better than not getting to follow your favorite artist at all!

I have no plans in returning to MySpace since It is too late. Unless they can come with A better idea then facebook. They should of done something A few years ago.

I think if Myspace came out with a Streaming music app like Spotify, Rdio, Amazon Cloud Music player, but all music and music videos are free without ads or time limits than Myspace could be popular for streaming music from indie, and popular bands.

Myspace still seem better for promoting music, movies, night clubs, and other entertainment topics compared to Facebook which is more suited for keeping in touch with friends, family, co-workers, and people you know than keeping up to date with bands because the template for FB seems less appealing for entertainment pages which look better with a gray or dark theme than the all white FB theme.
