I really like the theme, it looks very smart and professional and would be most suited to that type of site in my opinion.

This one is prettier than that theme but I'd still go for the first one because it is good for reading from a readers point of view.

It looks plain and sleek, yeah if that's what they're aiming for I guess it's not bad.

I think it looks good. It's responsive and professional yet simple. I prefer those things when looking at or for themes and making them.
