I was recently thinking of the Disney film "Wall-E" and what they depicted our society to be like in the (far off) future. People destroyed the planet to the point of it not being inhabitable, so they created robots to fix the planet and all the people went off to live in spaceships floating around outer space. Over the generations, people became so reliant on robots and glued to computer screens, that they just floated around in robotic chairs and only interacted through computer screens. All the people grew vastly overweight, unhealthy, and lost the ability to walk or interact in person. It seems far fetched, but think how reliant much of our society has become on technology and interacting through social media. I think it's not that far fetched after all. So, what do you think our society might be like in the future?

I'd be betting more on the film "The Hunger Games" (techno/capitalist tyranny) as an example - assuming we can make it past nuclear war at all.

Let me be realistic on this. Since the economy will be paperless, society will surely follow. People will be wired, so to speak, so meeting personally willnot be important anymore with tge advanced communication method we have now. And from the indications that I presently see, people in general will be like zombies who are glued to their gadgets most of the time.
