What forums should I add to my general chat forum?

I would like to know, what forums/subforums should I add to my current set up?

Add a game section and you're good to go. Don't add anymore boards unroll you feel like a topic needs its own board 😀

Get rid of the Forum Games section. It's the most useless, boring, and dumb section that every forum administrator is inclined to have...I don't know why there always is one, but eventually counting to 2,000 and doing the alphabet gets boring...For anyone really.

I dont know for a general forum there can be many forum games. Riddles , guess the word etc. I am sorry but i disagree with you. Forum games is a board that is used a lot in general forums and it never gets boring if you have the right threads in it.

You look like you are off to a great start, however, too many forums will make your forum look like it is dead. If anything, you could hide some of the areas you've created and put your focus into the most active areas.

This way, if you see many topics being started about a certain topic, say, computers, then you can always re-enable the computer forum, and then move the computer topics to the tech area you just reenabled.

College, University = the same thing, just different names depending on what part of the world you live in. Just thought I'd point that out. It's the same as saying "School, College, and College".

I think the amount of sections you have now is good. I don't really see a need for you to add a ton more or take a lot out. The main thing you need to do is find members, and perhaps work on the design (I've given some recommendations in your other thread).

Actually, I guess you could merge Music with Movies & TV. Just make it 'Entertainment' or 'Digital Entertainment'..Something like that. It might be good for the start, though you'd probably need to separate them once you get more members/posts.

With so many subcategory forums, you will need lots of daily discussions to make your forum look busy. Would be better to have two or three main sections with only two or three subforums on each. Combine your subforums so it looks like your forum has more posts per section.
