What helps you think of new threads for your forum?

I love writing & learning so I'm always thinking of something. If I read something, see something on TV, even talking with my husband or parents & an idea pops into my head, I add it to my growing list. I'm conscious throughout the day to always have interesting topics to discuss on my or others forums.

Googling topics/subjects or sometimes may steal topics from other forums but reword it in my own words.

I'm not the best at making topics. There are days when I can't think of anything and am devoid of ideas. There are days when I wake up with ideas.

Everyday life mostly. News, online searches, etc. Basically I just look around.

If there is no thread around the topic, I try to create a new thread. I don't create a new thread as long as the topic is already being discussed on another thread.

Things going on in the world, and things happening in my life are what give me ideas for new threads. Sometimes I will hit what they call writer's block and I have a period where I just can not think of what to post and then suddenly ideas will come floating back. I usually also think of ideas for threads when I am out and about or even just around the house so I always keep either my phone with me or a pad of paper near by to be able to jot them down so that I don't forget them and can use the ideas when I get back to my PC.

I'm so bad with threads, in fact, I'm a person that loves to reply to topics more so than create topics. I have created topics but only when I need something or help with 😛 other times I do not. I should post more topics however it's something that I do not why that I do not to do it.

It's tough to think of new, unique thread ideas at times. Oftentimes, like many others, I'm inspired by threads I see on other forums or subjects I am passionate about. There is much that is repetitive online, so thinking of the unique is really not often all that simple.

I'm notorious for being the world's worst thread starter unless it's for an essential message aimed at my members.

Sometimes, I will have a burst of inspiration. Other times, I've realized I am not filling a void I meant to be filling as an administrator and I will peruse other forums in search of inspiration.
