Based on one medical article, inhibitors are beneficial to man such that laboratories are expanding their horizon. After coming up with the inhibitor against acid reflux, there’s also the viagra that is also an inhibitor. What if an inhibitor is invented for the creative impulse of the brain? The person can only access the information in his mind but cannot process it - that’s a truth serum which is not far-fetched anymore. Are we looking at the future where lawyers and judges will be out of jobs?

I'd say most people will not like what they find out if people are unable to lie as they will find out just how often and the degree of the lies they are exposed to on a daily basis. I'd also imagine that they will simply come out with a way to counteract the truth serum so I doubt it will change much.

Well, the U.S. Military and other Government Agencies have a serum that is basically a truth serum. It basically involves a high dose of salt water, directly injected into a main artery. The high dose of salt water makes it harder for a person to tell a lie, while being questioned.
How about Trump, he lies about everything.
