For the forum I just started, I wanted to find other internet goers that really like to engage in intense debates online. People can be very passionate about their opinions online, and I wanted to create a forum where they can express those opinions.
I love why you created your forum! I agree with you, as long as the opinions are moderated by admins and moderators, It is great! I love hearing different peoples opinions and views 🙂
I started my website/blog so potential customers could find out about my eBay business. I also wanted to create a place for repeat customers to come if they have questions or problems with any products I sell. Overall, I've really used it as another way to market myself. Recently though I've started blogging about technology and personal things.
I started long ago with a graphic design forum when I was about 17 years old, it got quite popular and I did it because I liked helping people offering free graphic services and it also taught me a lot about being a webmaster and a designer. I also got into the blogging world to better understand it as a lot has changed over the years. So, overall I do it to offer services for others that are not able to do on their own and to learn and to teach. :]
