If i were to go with another free host, i would go for forumotion.

yes. I read and hear that forumotion is a good free forum host. Jcink I have used before and I found them to be good.

Spyka i think people are abusing your voting system. A few days ago Forumotion was #1, now it's at the bottom with ~-60 ~surprise~

forumotion doesnt allow backups even if you pay thats why i hate them 🙂 so my vote is pay for hosting 😛 but if i really must use free forum hosting freeforums.org i would go for

yes ! lets say i joint forumotion created a successfull forum i wanted to move to a payed host and add some mods and other themes I CANT

I think using the word "hate" goes a little too far. Lots of forum hosts don't offer backups...i assume you "hate" every forum host that doesn#t offer backups?

yeah -D- -D- i mean you do all the hardwork of making a forum promoting posting writing stuff up and you can't even have a backup?

I would say, freeforums.org

I think freeforums.org is a really troubled provider, with a lot of issues within the staff. With too many issues going on.

I suggest Prophpbb as a great provider.

Forumotion sucks because of how you edit and manage the forums and groups and etc..

I was with them for 6 months and it was horrible.

Freeforums is definitely not one of the best.

And freeforums use this reason for not adding most of the good styles.

I am sorry but this style uses a logo option that is not compatible with the FreeForums modifications for PHPBB3.

I do see why they say that but they can change it.

Forumotion and FreeForums seem to be getting the most attention in this thread...

I'll just say I've used them both and neither is exceedingly better than the other.

FreeForums is so much better in organising groups, ranks, permissions, forums, etc.
Forumotion is so much better for styles, customisation and such.

At least, that's my opinion.
