I am running a forum using MyBB forum script. I personally like MyBB forum script as its very easy to use and its userfriendly. However, I believe that most of the forum owner have the spam member registration and spam post problem. Spams are not good for our forum. For this reason I use some plugins which prevent users to post links without reaching certain amount of post count. But still I got some spam post and manually I remove them. However, how do you handle the spam problem ? Got any specail plugin or have some staff for that ?

Do you have moderators for your forum? If you don't depending on how large your forum is you may want to consider hiring some.

I would say hire one moderator per main forum and assign each one a forum.

Try asking new users to spell a word backward at registration. It works on most forums. For instance, you might ask, "What is forum spelled backward?".

However, that only stops spambots, but that usually seems to be most of them.

Admin activation. Mods can activate users too here.

I'll open it up more at some point, but I don't feel like going through the daily grind of deleting posts. Also, Cloudflare seems to block a lot of spambots, I haven't seen a single odd username so far.

Staff on mine are great with controlling spam, we don't get any, and they are quick to jump on trolls as well

Cloudflare is free, although there are higher tiers which you can pay money for to deflect attacks better and to get more CDN goodness. Not a single spambot so far, normally dozens of them hammer the registration page every single day.

I guess a moderator is required for a forum and that's 24/7 just to be sure. Of course, it's not just 1 moderator but several to handle the shifting. Moderating a forum is the best way to keep it clean not only from the spams but also from trolling and nonsensical posts. Especially when the forum is just starting, it is one good target of spammers, I don't know why. I understand that the moderator makes a website more expensive. But in the long run, it is worth it.

You should definitely make a topic about Cloudflare and explain its advantages for us that don't use it yet. I'm interested in using it, but I'm not sure I want to spend $20 per month on it.

There are a few good mods/methods that will keep spammers from signing up. It depends on what forum software you use.

I use & recommend vbulletin. All I had to do was relocate the register page and put in a question with a wrong answer already prefilled inside of it, meaning that any regular person could delete the wrong answer & input the right one... while many bots cant.

Just use Google Recaptcha, it's a great tool to stop spambots that don't annoy real humans when they register.

Have as much as you can without overkill when making new signups for those new people.

Captchas seem to be a joke - or did I use the wrong one?
From my own experience, Google ReCaptcha is effective at stopping bots - not human spammers.

If you want to stop known human spammers it's better to use an automated anti-spam system, like the one IPS use.

I could imagine it would be hard to stop all of the bot spammers by yourself. As others have mentioned it would be best to hire moderators to help you with the spam control and other aspects of the forum.

And moderators who actually care about your forum, I have some moderators in another forum I run who I am considering letting go because of this.
