Relating to your website, forum, blog, whatever it may be. What is your ultimate goal? Is it to reach X amount of members? Is it to generate revenue? Maybe it's to raise awareness or share a message.

What would you consider reaching your goal would look like? (i.e, when would you know you've completed your goal)

Last but definitely not least, what are you doing to bring yourself closer to the completion of your goal(s)?

Creating, managing, growing, and constantly improving a website is no easy task as we all know, I was hoping this thread could help one another learn of different ways to approach planning for the future from those in the same or similar positions.

I have a lot of websites and blogs, however, only six of my websites and blogs are generating revenue. My ultimate aim is to generate stable income from the websites and blogs. I am trying to develop residual income from my blogs and website. Money is my primary aim.

My goal is revenue focused. I wish to earn atleast 100$ a month out of it. So I am putting the efforts accordingly. I am not focusing on the members or so but I have plans for traffic in such context that I meet my revenue goals.

I lost my goals. Failed each time to the point that I always trying new things. I did not break my goal for 2018 so 2019 is another year. All I can say is keep on growing on twitch more and those traffic will go to the site.

I don't have numerical goals in mind for the board. My goal has always been to have a forum that has a community feel, where members can feel that they have a "home forum" to return to daily and interact with each other. I suppose I already have that with some of the current members but to have that membership grow with consistently returning active members would really help our discussions from getting stale. We all know each other's arguments on the site so sometimes it's the same old same old topics with the same old same old posts. Fresh blood should alleviate that.

The ultimate goal with the drumming website is to get a certain percentage to donate to the Patreon. in other words, the lessons and other stuff on the drumming forum - pre-sells the Patreon. So, actually, what I want is to reach people "extremely into drumming" people willing to donate $1 or $5 a month. Those people would get specialty stuff on more "fetish" topics - like 3/4 jazz or double bass drumming.
