I'm going to be getting a laptop soon, but I can't decide which brand I should purchase. Any ideas?

I would worry less about the brand and more about getting what fits your needs.

Infact if you post what you are looking for,you would probably get alot of suggestions 🙂.

I think Sony Vaio laptops are pretty good, but like NBK said it'd be nice to know exactly what you're looking for.

I don't think you can go wrong with Sony, HP, or Toshiba. Though when it comes to laptops, every opinion you hear is going to be vastly different.

If I am rich, I would buy an Alienware, Falcon, Dell XPS or Voodoo Laptop since they're usually the fastest consumer laptop which money can buy, and they look very cool.

Alienware I love. Don't hate what you don't have (for those haters out there).

Next time I get a laptop, which will hopefully be next year when I get a job - it will definitely be a MAC.

So far, Acer has what I'm looking for. A good operating system, a decent amount of memory, and a good screen size (around 15-16 inches).

You'd be able to find those things on any laptop 😎

I am probably biased but Toshiba provide the best value for money.

Well then Acer it is!

Hey listen to me... I got a HP laptop with Intel Core i7 Processor. The speed is blazing fast and you can get it just for $1000 from best buy or something. This is probably the best deal you can get. And... HP is the biggest computer selling company ever and Dell comes in second. 🙂

Sony VAIO laptops are good, but I think you should worry more about the computer itself than the brand.
