What's the biggest forum you built from the ground up?

What's the biggest forum that you started with no members? Did you merge with other forums to grow faster(increase members & posts)?

My current poker forum is my largest forum. I just registered pokerwebmaster.com and pokerwebmasterforum.com. I plan to start a poker webmaster forum, and try to revive what I believe is a dead niche.

I started an online gaming forum for older players which morphed into a support service for gaming server rentals. I don't recall how big it became but I do remember the day it hit half a million threads (not posts).

The largest forum I’ve ever built had over 270,000 posts and 10,000 members.



I hope to achieve this milestone again—and surpass it.

In terms of how new forums grow I like to think that Chatosaur is going good even if it's just under a month old.
