I entered the fierce battle known as WALMART. This weekend was a "tax free" weekend in our state. Our state suspends sales taxes 4 times a year: (1) weekend before school starts, (2) day after thanksgiving, (3) day after christmas, and (4) weekend before easter. All the trailer trash from Louisiana gets in their boats and ventures to WALMART to make their 3-month-long purchases worth 100s of dollars just to avoid a few dollars in taxes.
